Grime Stoppers Inc.

Grime Stoppers Inc. is a pressure cleaning company serving the commercial food service industry throughout Montana and Northern Wyoming. We specialize in commercial cooking exhaust system cleaning, as well as other specialized cleaning in the food service industry.

Thank You for taking a moment to consider Grime Stoppers Inc., please read this brief letter that tells you some of the basics about our company.

In late 1991 Grime Stoppers was founded by Robert Austin. Through equipment purchase, training, and the building of infrastructure for legal, accounting, and logistics, Grime Stoppers was ready to begin offering its services to commercial cooking operations in 1992. In October 1992, Robert took on partners in the company including Kevin Pearson as well as his son Cyrus Austin. In February 1993, Grime Stoppers became Grime Stoppers Inc. as an incorporated business based in Montana. In early 1994, then partner Kevin Pearson purchased all shares of stock from all partners and now serves in the capacity of President and CEO, as well as the operations manager of the company.

The goal of Grime Stoppers Inc. did not change from the initial mission of the company to operate profitably by offering professional services to commercial cooking operation in and around the State of Montana. In doing so the corporation partners all agreed that this could be done if we treated our customers exactly as we would like to be treated by anyone that we would choose to do business with.

Primarily we chose to be in this industry because we felt we could operate a profitable business where most of the competitors in the area were cleaning commercial exhaust systems as a sideline or were doing so without the level of quality commitment that their customers desired and deserved. We immediately set out to become the standard of the industry when it comes to quality and completeness of cleaning. To this day and into the future, quality is paramount in our approach and in our finished product.

This commitment to quality also takes into consideration the absolute need for professional scheduling where both the customer and Grime Stoppers Inc., agree upon a specified time to perform service. If special considerations need to be made because of distance, weather, or other technical issues that could arise, these would be discussed in advance so as to minimize room for surprise on the part of either Grime Stoppers Inc. or its customers. Communication has often been a problem cited as a reason why some of our customers have been dissatisfied with their previous service suppliers. We aim specifically to eliminate this problem and have taken measures to do so. Where communications breakdowns can occur in spite of the best attempts we make every effort to minimize such possibilities through our 4 tiered schedule notification policy (including: fax, e-mail, mailed post card, and telephone confirmation). After the jobs that have been scheduled and confirmed, are completed, Grime Stoppers Inc., will make a follow up quality control call, usually the following morning, and we will attempt to reach the designated contact person the following morning, and we will attempt to reach the designated contact person up to 3 times. Any conditions of not brought to our attention will receive immediate action, as well as be a topic of review at our semi-monthly managers meeting.

As with all companies in all industries we do our best in the face of the challenging needs for staffing qualified people in both key and non-key roles of the company. It is our effort to keep 3 full time professionally staffed production teams including at least one trained and qualified production manager and one cleaning technician. Vital to the success of any company, is the support that the production staff receives. A support staff that includes our information and technical support manager, clerical and inventory office manager, and general manager of operations all play a key roll in providing professional quality service that we've discussed above. One of the things that set our company apart from others in our industry is that each associate regardless of position in the company is required to work in the field on a regular basis. This allows for each person in our company to be able to understand and communicate effectively with each customer and or associate within our company about any part of a job that has been done.

Over the past decade we've also become industry leaders in Montana with personally edited computerized scheduling digital photography of system cleanings and notification of potential safety and or maintenance issues. Exhaust system mapping, NFPA96 Compliance reporting, customer employee training.

Exhaust system filter sales have become a necessary part of our business, as have roof protection system sales and service. Roof cleaning, hard surface floor (tile, stone, terrazzo, and concrete) restoration and maintenance cleaning, as well as floor safety consultancy and service are the fastest growing part of our business. Kitchen equipment cleaning, and the vitally important issues that related to maintenance, safety, and operations in commercial cooking facilities floors and exhaust systems have always and will always continue to be the focus of our company. Through this focus and determined effort we hope to have the opportunity to earn your business.
